So after a fantastic event on the main stage of the Palais, we headed to the SMG TED Inspire me Space at the Majestic hotel.
Joining us were our main stage TED fellows:
Rachel Armstrong: The Architect
Eric Berlow: The Scientist
E. Roon Kang: The Designer
Meklit Hadero: The Performer
Moderating the panel was TED Fellows and Community director, Tom Rielly.
As the panel got underway, Tom took a second to explain the TED Fellows program. He explained that it’s a collection of brilliant thinkers who are in the first half of their careers. They are truly the next generation of thinkers and possible TED speakers. They all get to attend one of the prestigious TED full session events in Long Beach or in Europe and they have the chance to have their TED talk posted on Ted.com.
One speaker (who my notes fail to quote) said: A high tolerance for ambiguity coupled with obsession with detail. That’s what makes a TED Fellow.
I think it’s amazing that TED is looking for people to develop and enhance the TED brand into the future.
If you were a TED Fellow, what would you talk about?
